From the GOV.UK application to a confirmed appointment: a practical booking checklist.
Official sources checked: 5 November 2026. Check the live instructions for your appointment or application.
Use GOV.UK to choose the application for your purpose. Complete and check the form, pay the application fee and IHS where required, and follow the application’s identity instructions. Appointment booking is not a substitute for submitting the correct visa application.
If the application requires a centre appointment, follow the official handoff to VFS for UK applications in Thailand. Keep your application and booking references. Check the destination and country before entering details or making any optional purchase.
Review the centre, date and appointment time shown in your account. Check any centre or service charge before confirming. Do not infer availability from published opening hours or buy non-refundable travel before you have the appointment confirmation.
Optional scanning, lounge, courier and other services have separate prices and conditions. Read what you selected. Premium services at a centre do not mean you have purchased UKVI Priority processing.
Save the appointment confirmation and follow its checklist for identification and documents. Complete the upload step or use the scanning option you booked, as instructed. Review the application yourself before final submission. Use the official account for applicable rescheduling or cancellation rules.
If our written quote includes booking support, we can assist with the administrative steps. You still attend any required personal identity appointment. We cannot guarantee a slot, decision date or visa outcome.
Tell us what administrative help you need. Review the written scope, total and cancellation terms before paying.
