Terms & Conditions

These terms explain what we do, what we do not do, and the rules that apply when you use our service. We have written them in plain language so they are easy to understand — but they are still designed to protect both you and us. Please read them before you place an order.

This is a plain-language Terms & Conditions. It is not legal advice; please have it reviewed by a qualified Thai/UK lawyer before you rely on it. Last updated: 29 June 2026.

UK Visa From Thailand provides administrative assistance only — document preparation, certified Thai→English translation, and VFS Global appointment booking. We are not a law firm, are not registered with the UK Immigration Advice Authority (IAA, formerly OISC), and do not provide regulated immigration advice. We give general public information sourced from gov.uk and admin help only.

By placing an order, paying, or using our website or service in any way, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These Terms work together with our Privacy Policy and our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

1. Definitions

2. Who we are and what our service covers

Our service is administrative assistance. It includes:

Our service does NOT include:

3. We are not a law firm and not IAA-registered

We are not solicitors and not registered with the IAA (formerly OISC). We do not give regulated immigration advice. The information we provide is general public information only and is not a substitute for professional legal advice.

If your situation needs regulated immigration advice, you should consult an IAA-registered adviser or a qualified solicitor. We will tell you honestly when we think your case needs that.

4. No guarantee of outcome — the decision rests solely with UKVI

Only UKVI can decide a visa application. Meeting the requirements does not guarantee approval. We cannot and do not guarantee any visa outcome, processing time, or appointment slot. Paying our Service Fee is payment for the service we provide, not for a result.

5. Your information must be accurate, complete and truthful

You confirm that all information and documents you give us are true, accurate, complete and not misleading. We rely on what you supply, and we are not liable for any outcome caused by information or documents that are inaccurate, incomplete, late, false or fraudulent.

If we suspect a document is false or fraudulent, we may refuse to start or may stop work immediately, with no refund.

6. Your responsibilities

To help your application run smoothly, you agree to:

Delays or problems caused by you — for example late replies or missed appointments — are not our responsibility.

7. Government Fees are separate and paid directly by you

UKVI, IHS, consular and VFS fees are set by government, not by us. You pay them directly to gov.uk or VFS. They are outside our control and are generally non-refundable if your application is refused or withdrawn. Our Service Fee is separate from these fees — see our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

8. Fees, payment and methods

Our Service Fee is shown in pounds sterling (£). You can pay by card (Stripe), Thai PromptPay QR, or manual bank transfer. We normally begin work once your payment is received and cleared.

Thai VAT or other taxes are added where they apply. If you pay in a currency other than baht, your bank or card provider sets the exchange rate and may charge currency-conversion fees that are not within our control.

9. Translation terms

A certified translation is a faithful rendering of the documents you supply. We are not responsible for errors in your source documents, or if a government body declines a particular translation format. You must tell us the correct spelling and transliteration of names so they match your passport and other records.

10. Third parties (VFS Global, payment providers, translators)

We use third parties to deliver parts of the service. Their availability, fees, processing times and decisions — for example whether a VFS appointment slot is available — are outside our control and are governed by their own terms. We are not liable for the acts or omissions of these third parties.

11. Limitation of liability

We are not liable for visa refusals, delays, lost appointment slots, or any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you for any order is limited to the Service Fee you paid us for that order. Government Fees can never be recovered from us, because we never receive them.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law — for example liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

12. Accuracy of information — no warranty

The information we provide is general and based on gov.uk as at 29 June 2026. Immigration rules change often. We do not warrant that the information is current or that it applies to your specific case. Always check the latest rules at gov.uk.

13. Intellectual property

All website content, templates, guides, checklists and translation products remain our intellectual property or are licensed to us. You receive a limited, personal-use licence for the documents we prepare for your own application. You may not copy, resell or redistribute our materials.

14. Refunds and cancellation

Refunds and cancellations are governed by our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy. Please read it before you order.

15. Suspension, termination and refusal of service

We may decline or end our service for non-payment, abusive behaviour, illegal activity, suspected fraud or false documents, or for sanctions and anti-money-laundering (AML) reasons.

16. Indemnity

You agree to cover (indemnify) us for any loss, claim or cost that arises from your breach of these Terms, from false or inaccurate information you give us, or from your misuse of the service.

17. Force majeure

We are not liable for failures or delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control — for example government or VFS system outages, policy changes, strikes, or natural events.

18. Governing law, language and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, and the courts of Thailand have jurisdiction. If a dispute arises, we both agree to first try to resolve it in good faith through our complaints procedure, and then by mediation or arbitration in Thailand if either of us wishes.

These Terms are published in Thai and English. The Thai version is the operative text and prevails if there is any conflict or difference between the two versions.

19. Complaints

If you are unhappy with our service, please contact us at visa@ukvisafromthailand.com, through our LINE Official account, or via our Contact page. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 3 business days and to resolve them fairly. Because we are not IAA-regulated, there is no IAA complaints route — but you keep all your rights under Thai consumer law.

20. Changes, severability and entire agreement

We may update these Terms from time to time; changes take effect when posted on this page. If any clause is found to be invalid, the rest of the Terms still apply. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy, form the whole agreement between you and us.
